As part of this Christmas, I wanted to create a 30 second animation that gave a festive feeling by designing my own models and animating using Blender. I started the project because I had taken inspiration from the Christmas adverts released from companies such as John Lewis, TUi or PETA.
In the early days of learning Blender, I wanted to sculpt, and as it was October, there was no better theme then HORROR! I wanted to make a Horror Sequence that incorporated similar visuals and audio that is used to make horror films scary. Taking direct inspiration from elements used in films like Insidious, The Exorcist and The Host to base my project around.
As part of my current course we are looking into making a 3D enviroment. I thought I would go back to basics and make a classic decorative mesh that we all use on a day to day basic known as the coffee mug. As well as making a environment look more realistic, it allowed me to expand my area of modelling by going simple. Sometimes the most basic model can be the best!
Last year, we were tasked to create a game for SEND students at a local primary school. Spaceflight: Asteroid Escape is the game that I designed, programmed and marketed on behalf of the assignment. It is a space shooter game that requires you to make it as far as possible without wrecking the ship. How far can you make it!?
I have always had a keen interest in drawing, I love to draw designs and characters such as BT-7274 here who is from a game called Titanfall 2, and upload it to my tablet to go over in digital ink. Although my time in drawing has been less in recent, it is a passion that I always love to come back to and draw what ever comes to mind.
I love to take pictures of the world, there are so many moments that people miss when they are not looking. I think photography offers the opportunity to cherish and share these moments and allow us to appreciate the country and world we live in.
I admire items that I have, especially special items that mean a lot. During the summer I brought a costly pair of Red, Black and White Nike Jordan 1's. To say I'm obsessed with them is an understatement, due to my obsession, I decided to 3D model my exact shoes in Blender. This not only expressed my admiration for my shoes but also tested my skills in terms of modelling.
