Taking photos is amazing, and the greatest thing about it is we all have the access, we carry devices that have cameras that can allow us to take a shot within a few taps. The fact cameras have gone from having to be so big to take a good picture to fitting into the back of a small computer is just remarkable. I think the unique thing about photography is it allows us to share what we see, and how we see it, with the people around us.
I have always had a fascination with London, the Urban life of London is one that I find extremely exciting and energetic. When I go to London, I always find myself very excited to travel all over the place, to take in new sights and views to get pictures of things that blow my Norfolk mind away! I find that the more iconic a place is, the more boring the picture is, such as the River Thames, Big Ben, etc. Everyone has seen that! I suppose just like they have seen The Shard or The London Underground, but something just speaks to me when I take photos of these things, I like to think I get a new aspect.
Hunstanton is like my local photo playground, I have taken so many pictures here, that I suppose eventually I was bound to get something good, at least I think these are good!? I think that my love for cities like London or Liverpool comes from growing up in a small seaside town. I believe that being local to an area makes you unintentionally take it for granted, because I think Hunstanton has such natural beauty, and maybe I need reminding of that. Hunstanton in the sunshine has something special about it, when taking pictures I mainly seem to take ones of the seaside and sunset, and when I look through these pictures I'm not joking when I say it honestly feels like I can smell the seaside breeze with the warmth on my skin.
I love travelling from place to place in my free time, and as a Liverpool FC fan, it would be unethical if I had not visited Liverpool at some point in my life. Although these pictures are of the generic things in Liverpool, I think they display significant landmarks to the culture of Liverpool. The Liver bird, which sits on top of the Liver building represents the badge of the club of culture.
I have a keen interest in Space, I truly think it is remarkable. So remarkable that its incomprehensible the vastness of it and how it works and operates. I am fortunate enough to live in a place which has no light at all, such as lamp posts or congestions of cars lighting up the streets. So believe me in how remarkable the sky looks when it is full of millions and millions of stars. My pictures of the stars do not even do it justice, but above you can see the Stars, Moon and Sun. I think the value my pictures show that when we get so wrapped up in our lives, we forget that there is an entire universe out there and we are just one little planet out of millions.
